The tourist village "Yurievskoe Podvorie"
is located in a picturesque area, not far from Veliky
Novgorod, just opposite the other unique village well-known
as Open-air Museum of Wooden Architecture "Vitoslavlitsy".
It is favorite place of Novgorodians and guests of
the city to rest and relax. It's only 20 minutes walk
and you view revived St. George Monastery and feel
its slow, regular life. One of the pearls of Novgorod
architecture - St. George Cathedral of the 12th century
- is also located over there.
Due to various possibilities of having active rest
at any seasons "Yurievskoe Podvorie" is
rapidly turning into a popular place among the guests:
in summer motor launches, jet ski and water skis are
available, in winter holidaymakers can do cross-country
skiing along an illuminated skiing track, snowmobile
riding and ice-skating.
By now only the first group of tourist village
objects has been opened. It includes two restaurants,
seating people of 70 and 80, 16 double rooms of "standard",
"junior suit", and "suit" classes.
There is the illuminated skiing track as well as an
ice rink right in the village.

The opening of the second line of
objects, including a Russian banya (sauna), a tea house,
family cottages with terraces and barbecues, is taking
place in 2009. Two comfortable parking lots for passenger
cars and tourist coaches, footpaths, cozy open summerhouses,
a playground for children, souvenir stalls are also
being constructed quite soon in the territory of the
village.
The tourist village "Yurievskoe
Podvorie" is the best place to have activity rest,
spend weekends with your family and accommodate tourists
with a great comfort.
